King Terminal Studios
574 East 1st Street
studio 204
South Boston MA 02127
Although it's a 1st Street address, there isn't an entrance on 1st Street. It's a "creative"address that can get confusing once you're close. The studios are set back off the street and you have to enter from Elkins Street. See directions below:
If you are using a GPS, instead of entering 574 East 1st Street , which may not come up, enter 837 Summer Street, South Boston 02127. That address will get you to the corner of Summer Street and 1st Street. You should be able to see Elkins Street from there. (Elkins Street is more of an entranceway, between two buildings that brings you into the studio complex). Elkins is across from the power station. Turn left onto Elkins and you will see all of the studio buildings. Go past the first parking lot, take a left and the studio is the last building on the right. It's an old warehouse building with a brown door. Second Fl. #204
FROM SOUTH STATION:
The studios are about 1 mile from South Station. Follow Summer Street, past the new convention center, over the Summer St bridge. As Summer Street bends to the right, you will see FEDX on your right. You are still on Summer Street. After you pass FEDX, look for Elkins Street on your right (Elkins Street is more of an entranceway, between two buildings that brings you into the studio complex). Elkins is across from the power station. (If you get to First Street, you've gone too far) Take a right onto Elkins and you will see all of the studio buildings. Go past the first parking lot, take a left and the studio is the last building on the right. It's an old warehouse building with a brown door. Second Fl. #204
There's plenty of parking in the lot.
FROM THE NORTH:
Take the South Boston exit 15. Take a left off the exit and proceed to the rotary. Go 180 so you are going straight onto to Day Blvd. (2nd exit off the rotary). Carson Beach will be on your right. Drive about 1 mile and take a left on L Street. Go through four sets of lights (you will pass by Murphy's Law at corner of 1st and Summer - L Street turns into Summer St). Take your next left onto Elkins Street. (Elkins St. is more of an entranceway, between two buildings that brings you into the studio complex). It's across from the power station. Take a left onto Elkins and you will see all of the studio buildings. Go past the first parking lot, take a left, and the studio is the last building on the right. It's an old warehouse building with a brown door. Second Fl. #204
FROM THE SOUTH :
Take the South Boston exit #14. Take a right at the end of the ramp and proceed to the rotary. (Follow directions from above)
