August 24th, 2010Orange Wall Project
December 17th, 2009Tomeeka Farrington wanted to change up her condo in Chelsea. We started working together this summer. Tomeeka wanted to put more of her personality into the place. Everyone got to see what we’ve done so far this past weekend when Tomeeka hosted a holiday party. The colors in the living room and dining areas were changed from “condo beige” to Metropolitan Gray, Cosmos White with an accent wall painted orange. I made a triptych wall relief sculpture for the orange wall . After some track lighting was added, everyone came out for some great food, art and a Patriots win.

Thank you for being part of Open Studios over the weekend. DEVS , Byron, Ellis and Eadie for their poetry. DEVS artwork combined surreal portraits, spacescapes and graf into a style all his own. Anthony Schofield’s paintings show his background in music with lettering and subtle details that create their own rythym. Anthony Eadie’s paintings have a collage look to them with glimpses into his heritage and poetry. Shaanti Williams created a group portrait with a nod to Boston Hip Hop culture that brought DJ Nomadik to the studio. Barrington Edwards’ futuristic, comic book style and alter egos floated above the room and rounded off the weekend’s collection. Thank you to Spotlight Communications and Tomeeka Farrington for publicizing the event, the Eadie family for the food and Chuck Norris, Julia and Gumby for their appearances on Halloween.
